Stage Information

Stage 13 and 14 - Beechdale Saab Donington Super Special 1 and 2

12:31 & 12:44 | Catering | Commentary | Toilets | £7 per person (Children under 16 £1)

Stage length: 3.86 miles

Principal marshalling clubs: Eastwood MC., Loughborough MC, CSMA, Midlands, B.M.R.MC, Cambridge CC.

Location: 3 miles west of M1 near Castle Donington.

Car parks: follow the signs to the large car parks around the main circuit entrance. These all give access to the spectator entrances at Coppice and McCleans.

Fact file: length of stage in 1995 - 3.85 miles. Fastest time - stage 13 - 3 mins 45 secs (Makinen); stage 14 - 3 mins 42 secs (Makinen).

Spectator Entrance open: 09:00 Sunday

Uses both the circuit and gravel roads. Narrow in places with tricky corners. Access around the outside of the stage gives excellent viewing. The stage is used twice with the cars starting at 30 second intervals. Prior to the main Event, cars in the Leeds-RAC International Historic Rally will attempt the stage twice from 10:01.

Routes: from the south, leave M1 at junction 23A then via A453. From the north, leave M1 at junction 24 then follow the signs to Donington. From Derby use A6 and B6540 through Castle Donington. From West Midlands use M42/A42 onto A447 then A453.

Warning: Please follow any police temporary diversions which may be in operation to speed up traffic access to the stage. There is no access from Melbourne Lane and no access to paddock area.
