Stage length: 5.11 miles Principal marshalling clubs: Nat West MC, Dukeries MC, North Humberside MC, CSMA East Midlands, CSMA North London, Lincs Louth MC, Mablethorpe, Lindholme MSC. Location: 3 miles south of Worksop off the B6034. Car parks: large car parks near to middle of stage accessed from B6034 and the A57. Fact file: length of stage in 1995 - 5.11 miles. Fastest time 4 mins 49 secs (Eriksson). | Car parks open: 08:00 Sunday The fastest tarmac stage in the rally on roads through the National Trust parkland. Many tight corners and the infamous Clumber Bridge make this a most challenging stage. Prior to the main Event, cars in the Leeds-RAC International Historic Rally will attempt the stage twice from 08:11 Routes: from the A1 (north and south), approach via the A57 only. From Worksop and north west, use the Worksop bypass and the B6034 entering Clumber at Truemans Lodge. From Mansfield and Nottingham use the A616 then B6034 entering the park at Carburton. From M1, leave at junction 30 and follow the A619 or A616 and then onto the B6034. Warning: no spectator entrances or access from A614. No overnight parking. |
